I am half Russian and half Serbian, but I grew up in Cyprus, a small Mediterranean island.
When I was younger, my family needed a lawyer, but we could not afford one. Because of that experience, I decided I wanted to become a lawyer so I would have the knowledge and ability to speak up for my rights and for the rights of others. It became a personal mission for me.
I went to law school at Fordham Law School.
After graduating, I clerked in the First Department of the New York Supreme Court with Judge Sweeney. He was an incredible mentor and that experience was extremely valuable.
I have spent most of my legal career handling employment law cases.
I think my clients would describe me as compassionate, knowledgeable, and available to help them. I try to respond to clients as quickly as possible, and I believe it is important to keep the relationship professional but approachable so they feel comfortable reaching out.
Other lawyers would likely describe me as competent and as a strong advocate for my clients.
I am passionate about helping my clients, but I am also passionate about enjoying life. I love dancing, music, and travel.
I have also volunteered with an organization that helps put on live music concerts.
Lately I have been doing a lot of home improvement projects as well. Recently, I even repotted a plant at home.
